Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Recruiting Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Buffalo, New York. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing recruitment strategies, managing hiring processes, and building strong partnerships to attract top talent. Your contributions will directly support our mission within the non-profit sector, while ensuring compliance with agency policies and employment laws.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and evaluate recruitment strategies.
• Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and ensuring compliance with all required checks.
• Participate in interview rotations to assess and select candidates based on their experience.
• Conduct regular analyses of recruitment efforts to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create and post internal job opportunities to support employee growth and development.
• Partner with the marketing team to design external hiring content and social media advertisements.
• Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and other hiring sources.
• Organize and attend job fairs and career events to connect with potential candidates.
• Coordinate onsite services such as drug screenings and TB testing for new hires.
• Ensure all reference checks and required screenings meet organizational and legal standards.• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a recruiting or talent acquisition role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ATS systems, CRM tools, and other recruitment-related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR policies related to hiring.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with background checks, benefit functions, and compliance processes.
• Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
