Job Title: Accountant
Summary
The Accountant is responsible for applying accounting principles to prepare accurate financial reports, analyze financial data, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. This role plays a key part in the monthly close process and supports both internal and external financial reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the monthly accounting close for all entities.

Prepare financial and budget-to-actual reports for investors, funders, and internal stakeholders.

Assist with the annual financial statement audits.

Record financial transactions from multiple sources, including:

Accounts payable
-
Accounts receivable
-
Bank activity
-
Credit card transactions
-
Purchase orders
-
-
Participate in special projects as assigned.

Maintain compliance with all agency-required documentation and training.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related business field preferred.

Minimum of 2–3 years of accounting experience.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization.

Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
-
Experience in nonprofit or real estate development sectors is a plus.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $38.00 per hour
