Job SummaryClient is seeking a Business Analyst III to serve as a Product Specialist within the Consulting Group's Advisory Field Support (AFS) team. This role is pivotal in supporting Client Advisory business by offering subject matter expertise, operational guidance, and product education to Financial Advisors and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a motivated, team-oriented professional with a strong foundation in financial services and investment knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Financial Advisors and branch personnel for inquiries related to Advisory programs
- Provide proactive education on Advisory platform features, policies, procedures, and system navigation
- Support tasks such as opening new advisory accounts, generating proposals, and assisting with account trading
- Leverage CRM and internal tools to log activity and manage relationships effectively
- Manage high call volumes while maintaining service levels and ensuring excellent customer service
- Participate in cross-training initiatives to expand knowledge of various advisory programs
- Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to share feedback and drive continuous process improvement
- Use Advisory and firm-wide systems to address and resolve advisor inquiries quickly and accurately
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Economics, Finance, or related field preferred)
- Strong academic foundation in investment-related coursework (e.g., stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, portfolio construction, asset allocation)
- 2–5 years of professional experience in financial services or investment-related fields
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and provide high-quality client service
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience supporting Financial Advisors or in wealth management operations
- Familiarity with advisory platforms or wrap fee-based accounts
- Experience using financial planning, portfolio management, or trading systems
- Series 7 or 66 license (a plus, not required
