A growing real estate firm is seeking a seasoned Senior Property Accounting Manager to lead financial operations for a rapidly expanding portfolio. The company has recently acquired 12 new properties and has grown rapidly over the last few years. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the Director of Finance, with 4 direct reports (including offshore team members).

Key Responsibilities

Lead financial statement preparation and analysis for property portfolio

Oversee intercompany and payroll-related entries across managed properties

Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies

Mentor and manage a team of property accountants

Drive process improvements and implement best practices

Coordinate audits and due diligence efforts

Communicate financial insights to senior leadership and stakeholders

Evaluate and enhance accounting systems (Yardi preferred)
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

8–10 years of property accounting or real estate finance experience

Proven leadership managing accounting staff (beyond AP/AR)

Strong understanding of GAAP and property-related tax laws
-
Proficiency in Yardi, Microsoft Office, and ERP/accounting systems

Excellent communication and analytical skills
-
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
