Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, such as preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
• Conduct financial reviews and variance analyses, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Generate receivables reports, monitor aging accounts, and manage bad debt allowances in collaboration with the collections team.
• Develop and refine payable procedures to streamline invoice approvals and payments.
• Assist with compliance efforts, including audits, tax filings, and adhering to sales/use and franchise tax requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments to support long-term financial projects and organizational growth.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in general ledger management and financial analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success working collaboratively across departments.
