Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Receiving Supervisor to join our team at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York,. As a Receiving Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading team members to provide exceptional guest service.

What will you do?
- Review the order tracker log sheet for expected deliveries
- Review notes on the board for items needed to return, special handling of certain items, distribution of products, reminders for pre-shifts
- Notify manager of any staffing changes
- Verify items received against the invoice and purchase order
- Inspect and check dry and frozen goods for any signs of damage
- Ensure perishable products are stores away promptly
- Inspect wine/liquor for tampering
- Conduct random inspection of expiration dates on products
- Note on the invoice any items that are shorted, damaged, mislabeled, or rejected
- Receive UPS/Fedex/USPS packages from mail room
More about you
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Experience working in a restaurant required
- Minimum of 2 years' of supervisory experience preferred
- Must be able to implement rules and direct employees
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- No college degree required
Physical requirements
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
- Ability to lift stock up to 50 pounds occasionally
- May be required to work outdoors or in variable temperatures depending on the season
