New Café/Bistro with Grab-n-Go market, Online and Catering orders, plus event space is seeking an ambitious, organized Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef, with basic kitchen and admin skills (ordering, scheduling, inventory).
Qualifications
- Organized / Strong admin, time management, and leadership skills.
- 2+ years’ experience in a Leadership position with strong understanding of kitchen SOPs
- Hands on leader and mentor.
- Experience / knowledge with NY DOH.
Responsibilities
- Assist Chef/Owner with day-to-day operations, managing the prep/production in the kitchen.
- Scheduling, inventory, ordering, open/close duties, and overall problem resolution.
- Perform employee training, reviews, and progressive discipline.
- Assists with managing cost controls and controlling expenditures.
