Certerra Instrumentation and Monitoring, a rapidly growing engineering services firm specializing in geotechnical and structural monitoring, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team at our Ozone Park headquarters. This is an exciting opportunity to support critical infrastructure projects through advanced instrumentation and data review.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and validate structural and geotechnical monitoring data from various instrumentation systems (vibration, displacement, strain, etc.).
- Develop professional monitoring reports in accordance with project specifications and engineering standards.
- Assist in the modification and improvement of monitoring plans based on field data and client feedback.
- Work closely with project engineers and field technicians to ensure accurate and timely data processing.
- Interface directly with clients to communicate findings, answer questions, and support decision-making.
- Maintain organized databases of monitoring data and support QA/QC procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis tools; experience with data visualization software is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in construction, environmental monitoring, or engineering support roles is a plus.
