Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to help lead daily operations at a fast-paced, customer-focused bakery-café. This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for high-quality food service, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

Assist in overseeing all restaurant operations including front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of hourly associates and shift supervisors.
Ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction through hands-on leadership.
Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
Monitor and manage inventory, food costs, and labor in alignment with budget targets.
Support hiring, training, and scheduling efforts in partnership with the General Manager.
Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
Promote a positive team culture that reflects company values and fosters accountability.
Execute and uphold operational and brand standards consistently.

Qualifications:

2+ years of leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
