Job Description:
As a Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of aerospace components. Your primary responsibilities will include setting up and conducting tests on various products, troubleshooting and analyzing failures, and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Setup and Execution: Configure and operate test equipment to perform tests as per specifications.
- Troubleshooting and Analysis: Diagnose and analyze malfunctions in analog and digital circuits down to the component level, providing detailed failure descriptions and root cause analyses.
- Documentation: Accurately record test results and maintain comprehensive test records.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to address issues and implement improvements.
- Safety and Maintenance: Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and ensuring equipment is properly calibrated.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeships in a related field are advantageous.
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic or electromechanical systems.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in using test equipment, hand tools, and soldering equipment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications.
