Job Description
We are seeking a high-energy, detail-driven Account Service Representative to join a top-tier building materials distributor in Yonkers! This is a full-time, in-person role where you’ll be the first point of contact for customers placing orders by phone, email, and fax — ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service every step of the way.
What You’ll Do:
✅ Manage customer orders (email, phone, fax) with accuracy and urgency
✅ Confirm orders, follow up on quotes, and coordinate special orders with vendors
✅ Apply your growing product knowledge to help customers get what they need
✅ Juggle multiple tasks while staying sharp and detailed
✅ Collaborate across departments to deliver a seamless customer experience
Qualifications
What You’ll Need:

1–3 years of building materials or related industry experience (preferred but not required)

Strong technical skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)

Top-tier organization, attention to detail, and time management skills

Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal

A positive, team-first attitude and a knack for problem-solving under pressure
