Role Summary

The Executive Director, Agency Partnerships will be tasked with accelerating revenue growth through strategic relationships with key Holding Companies and Strategic Agencies. This high-impact role focuses on creating new sales opportunities, increasing spend per brand, expanding agency engagement, and driving adoption of Dstillery’s custom audience solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Lead strategic initiatives to grow Dstillery's data revenue across assigned Holding Companies and Strategic Agencies.
  • Create Sales Opportunities: Act as a connector and opportunity creator, opening doors and enabling the sales team to close new business.
  • Expand Key Relationships: In partnership with Sales Leadership and Executive Team, develop and deepen top-down relationships at the C-level and senior agency leadership.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with Sales, GTM, Marketing, Product, and Client Success to execute growth plans aligned with company priorities.
  • Account Strategy & Execution: Partner with the sales team to build and manage a pipeline of high-potential agency accounts and advertisers with tailored action plans to close deals.
  • Partner Collaboration: Work closely with VP and SVP of Sales to align on goals and co-develop agency-wide engagement strategies.
  • Deal Structuring: Negotiate partnerships that drive equitable value for both Dstillery and our agency partners.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive developments, and client needs to identify new areas of opportunity.
  • Product Feedback: Provide actionable insights to the Product team based on client and agency feedback.
  • Act as GTM lead for international opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in agency/holding company sales, partnerships, or business development in the adtech or data space.
  • Strong existing relationships at the senior level (MD, EVP, C-level) within media agencies and holding companies.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and build strategic partnerships that drive measurable revenue.
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills, especially in complex or emerging product areas.
  • Highly collaborative team player with experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing against strategic KPIs and performance targets.
  • Familiarity with data-driven marketing solutions, agency trading desks, and media platforms.
