Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will play a key part in creating a welcoming environment while managing front desk operations. This part-time position requires strong multitasking abilities and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and ensure they are directed to the appropriate personnel or department.
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, handling inbound calls efficiently and professionally.
• Provide accurate information in response to inquiries from clients, customers, or visitors.
• Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring it is clean and presentable at all times.
• Handle scheduling and appointment coordination, as necessary.
• Manage incoming mail and deliveries, distributing them promptly to the correct recipients.
• Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, or document preparation as needed.
• Ensure adherence to company protocols and security procedures while interacting with visitors and staff.
• Assist in maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders when required.• Experience in receptionist duties, including managing multi-line phone systems.
• Proficiency in operating switchboards with 1 to 10 phone lines.
• Strong verbal communication skills to handle inbound calls and inquiries effectively.
• Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility as needed.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capability to provide a welcoming and detail-oriented presence at the front desk.
• Basic proficiency in office software and administrative tools.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
