An established accounting firm in Bellmore is hiring an experienced accountant. Position is full time, with extended hours during tax season. This has a great potential for growth.
Responsibilities will include: preparation of individual tax returns, payroll tax, sales tax, and corporate tax returns. Along with general bookkeeping such as write ups and closing entries.
Requirements:
1. Tax preparation experience both individual and corporate
2. Payroll Tax and Sales Tax preparation experience
3. Ultra Tax software experience a plus
4. QuickBooks experience
5. Responsible and dependable
6. Able to work Saturdays during the tax season
You must have the ability to directly handle clients and complete assignments on a timely basis.
A minimum of 2 years public accounting experience is required.
