Job Description
Trucordia is looking for a Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager will be responsible for growing our business - driving production and customer success outcomes including retention and relationship expansion.
The Senior Account Manager will provide excellent customer service by ensuring all client needs are met while engaging in cross-selling, account rounding and development of new business. Account Manager will build relationships to understand client and prospect needs and provide solutions that effectively protect their risks. In this role, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing, retaining and growing a diverse book of commercial lines accounts.
The book of business consists of middle market accounts: real estate, construction, GCs and Trade Contractors, manufacturer, tech companies, professional lines and other miscellaneous classes of business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the account life cycle: pre-renewal, renewal, post renewal, stewardship and visiting clients if needed.
- Actively respond and maintain timely communication with qualified prospects and manage new client implementation process
- Lead and coordinate the evaluation of marketing results, develop and present recommendations to clients
- Coordinate with Producers, Placement and Service teams to prepare risk management and insurance programs that provide both competitive pricing/terms and advocates for the best interests of Clients and Prospects
- Collaborate with the Producer to further evaluate new business opportunities with prospects and clients; assists in onboarding of new clients and/or policies
- Working with team members at all levels to ensure clients/prospects satisfaction.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of clients/prospects business and strategic priorities
- Execute solid analysis, delivering creative and practical solutions for clients/prospects
- Serve as client's valued adviser, building a strategic, and personal relationship with key client decision makers
- Prepare formal presentations/proposals including loss summary and coverage comparison
- Participate in RFP process and finalist presentations
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience servicing commercial accounts
- Minimum 5 years of experience with the real estate market in New York.
- Knowledge of the 5 broughs in New York City.
- Must possess a developing knowledge of commercial insurance markets to place new business and understand the supplemental insurance marketplace, especially in NY Real Estate and construction arena.
- Ability to multitask and operate in an ever changing environment
- Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment and effectively prioritizing risks to manage concurrent workflow
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Agency Management System (AMS360 preferred)
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities
- Hold an Active P&C brokers’ license
- College degree preferred

Compensation: ($80,000-$150,000) — final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
