Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented University Payroll Coordinator to join our team in New York, New York. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the efficient management of payroll operations at a leading academic institution. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in payroll systems, contract management, and compliance with state guidelines.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments for university staff.
• Manage requests for quotations and coordinate submissions in compliance with state procurement guidelines.
• Review and implement contract clauses, including Standard Clauses for New York State agreements.
• Prepare and manage PDF documentation related to payroll and financial contracts.
• Ensure compliance with state finance requirements and university policies.
• Utilize platforms such as About Time and HTTPS systems for payroll and contract management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline payroll processes and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized records of payroll submissions and financial documentation.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of required reports and quotations.
• Provide support in managing financial contracts and addressing related inquiries.• Proven experience in payroll coordination, preferably in academic or public sector settings.
• Familiarity with state contract clauses and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in software such as About Time and PDF management tools.
• Strong understanding of financial contracts and quotation submission processes.
• Ability to work with HTTPS systems and other digital platforms.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
