Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will support daily office operations and assist with basic accounting tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and has a knack for numbers. You’ll work closely with management and our accounting department to ensure the smooth and efficient running of administrative and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support (scheduling, filing, data entry, correspondence)

  • Assist with basic accounting tasks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations

  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems (digital and physical)

  • Prepare reports and spreadsheets as needed

  • Handle incoming calls and emails professionally

  • Support bookkeeping and month-end processes under the direction of the accounting team

  • Help maintain office supply inventory and place orders as necessary

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is a plus

    • Must be proficient in Excel for this position. Quickbooks experience is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher in business, accounting, or related field is a plus
