Job DescriptionDescriptionWhat Success Looks LikeAs a Bookkeeper, you’ll drive data excellence across all departments. You will be responsible for the company’s payables function, accounts receivable, cash management, and monthly bank reconciliation assuring its capabilities are aligned with the needs of all departments and functions. You'll grow and embrace in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You'll work to balance all outcomes, including accuracy, sales and service excellence, and optimized systems and processes focusing on efficiency and overall costs. You will have a foundation of generallyaccepted Accounting principles and accrual-basis accounting.
Key Responsibilities● Responsible for processing all customer payments promptly and following up on Account Receivable collections● Responsible for recording and maintaining cash balance daily● Maintain an organized digital filing system for financial supporting documentation● Responsible for maintaining digital vendor and customer files● Supports management for improvements with internal financial operations● Responsible for a thorough understanding of the NetSuite financial reporting system and general ledger structure within the first 60 days of hire● Responsible for accurate and timely workflow of all AP functions such as (but not limited to) maintaining vendor relations, entering all AP invoices, and matching purchase orders to receiving paperwork● Supports Customer Success and Sales business units to ensure returns and credits are processed promptly● Responsible for reconciling bank accounts as part of the month-end close process
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous 1-3 years of professional experience working as an Accounting Clerk or Bookkeeper
- Experience with NetSuite or other ERP software a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in Google applications (Gmail, Drive, Calendar)
- Prior experience working within an advanced manufacturing organization is preferred, but not required
- Comfort working in a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
