Pride Health is hiring a Procedural RN for a client in Mount Kisco, NY! (Contract)
Working in an Outpatient Procedure Suite
Schedule: Monday-Friday (day shift)
Contract: 5 month contract
Pay Rate: $40-45/hour
Specific Duties:
- Responsible for safe, accurate and timely admission of patient into procedure suite
- Obtaining procedural and anesthesia consents, intra op responsibilities include assisting gastroenterologist during procedure, collection and documentation of specimens, safely recover and assess patients’ readiness for discharge and provide post procedure instruction and address patient/escort questions.
- Pre-procedure RNs also responsible for reviewing and assessing patients’ appropriateness for procedure within our Quad A outpatient suite
- Advising of medication issues/holds and/or pre-procedure testing requirements.
Must have qualifications/experience:
- Active RN license
- BLS Certification
- Procedural/Pre Op/PACU experience is a plus
