Job Overview

Macrobond is looking for Enterprise Account Manager to join the US Sales Team. In this key role you will be upselling and cross-selling existing clients to expand relationships. You will be responsible for positioning Macrobonds comprehensive economic and financial data solutions to meet the needs of investment professionals, government institutions, and corporate clients across the US. Job Responsibilities/ What you will do:

  • Account Management: Build strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while uncovering upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Collaborate closely with customer success and support teams to maintain and grow client accounts.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a regional sales plan that aligns with Macrobonds global strategy. Leverage market intelligence to identify opportunities in specific sectors, regions, or themes that align with Macrobonds data offerings.
  • Solution Selling: Understand client challenges and requirements to offer tailored solutions using Macrobonds data products, including API integrations and automated workflows. Provide demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and support in closing deals.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the marketing, product, and research teams to ensure clients have access to Macrobonds chart packs, thematic analysis, and weekly market insights

Required Qualifications and experience:

  • Hands-on strategic B2B sales experience, preferably within SaaS
  • Experienced, proactive and strategic solutions sales professional with a track record of success selling software or data driven solutions to the investment community, ideally, economists, analysts and strategist from banks and asset owners and managers
  • Track record of achieving/exceeding sales quota and market share goals.
  • Excellent networking ability.
  • Skilled Solution seller with proven ability to build win-win proposals.

  • An ability to define and communicate a compelling value proposition
  • Experience selling within a complex sales cycle preferred over transactional sales experience
  • Desire to learn and personally demo the Macrobond platform to prospects, and build existing knowledge of macroeconomics and financial markets
  • An excellent long-term relationship builder, with the ability to initiate and sustain relationships with large, medium, and small sized prospective customers.
  • A team player with the ability to work collaboratively with disparate international teams, as well as work independently
  • Ability to manage priorities and effectively time manage with flexible approach.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

** This is a hybrid role with no fixed office attendance requirement. However, the position involves frequent in-person meetings with existing clients, and candidates must be comfortable with regular local travel for these engagements.
