Job Title: Business Analyst
HBITS Task Order: HBITS-06-14122
Agency: Office of Mental Health (OMH)
Location: Onsite/Hybrid (Albany, NY)
Rate: Depends on experience


Position Overview:
Project is part of the New York HBITS initiative to support OMH projects like TACT and OAS. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, documentation, and collaboration throughout SDLC.

Responsibilities:

  • Elicit and validate business requirements.
  • Create as-is/to-be process flows.
  • Conduct JAD sessions and workshops.
  • Translate user needs into clear documentation.
  • Maintain traceability and support UAT.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years eliciting and analyzing requirements.
  • 7+ years creating SDLC artifacts.
  • 7+ years facilitating stakeholder workshops.
  • 6+ years managing test plans and UAT.
  • 6+ years managing requirements lifecycle.
  • 3+ years with healthcare and billing applications.
  • CBAP certification.
