Position Available: Human Resources Manager

We are seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager who Plans, directs and administers the Staff Training, Communications and Information Technology functions. Facilitates change, growth, and development initiatives to support and strengthen the center's strategic objectives and core values-driven culture.

Job Duties: Provides supervision, training, assessment, and leadership for HR, Staff Training, Communications and Information Technology staff. Partners with corporate and center leadership to build a shared commitment to the company's core values-driven culture. Demonstrates and models core values. Establishes and oversees the core values leadership team. Acts as a trusted advisor to the Center Director and is a member of the senior leadership team. Acts as Center Director in the absence of the same. Partners with center leadership to identify solutions to organizational problems and influences key decisions and policies. Coaches and encourages staff to diagnose the true nature of problems and arrive at viable solutions. Develops and implements recruitment strategies to identify and maintain an active talent pool that insures rapid talent replacement. Assesses the organization’s structure and makes recommendations to reallocate resources. Identifies and develops high potential staff. Provides oversight to the staff training and development program. Designs and implements measurement tools that link learning to individual and organizational performance. Develops and implements a rewards program that is aligned with the organization’s vision and culture. Monitors and administers a departmental budget and works within budgetary constraints.

Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of management practices; proven ability to lead and support a team. Proven knowledge of human resources policies and practices Thorough knowledge of local, state and federal regulations that govern employment practices. Ability to understand, control and track direct spending and labor budgets. Proven track record in developing processes and metrics that support the organization’s success. Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as effective presentation skills

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Administration or related field . Must possess a New York State Valid Driving License with an acceptable driving record.
