JOB FUNCTION: 
This position ensures the purity of the water processed for MPW Industrial Water customers at various project sites. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing our on-site technical customer service. This individual will be responsible for chemical tests, chemical feed and control equipment maintenance, chemical inventory management, technical recommendations, and written service reports
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:&nbsp;
 
<ol>
<li>Travels&nbsp;up to 75%&nbsp;of the time&nbsp;to various project sites and maintains MPW Water Purification Equipment.</li>
<li>Acts as support function to multiple locations as needed.</li>
<li>Adheres to all Safety rules, regulations and guidelines, including proper housekeeping.</li>
<li>Works closely with the customer, daily, to troubleshoot and repair system operational problems and makes corrections when appropriate.</li>
<li>Tracks the performance, via daily logs, of the equipment at the various project sites.</li>
<li>Performs required labor at the various project sites, including hose and pipe assembly, chemical drum handling, chemical transfer, filter backwashes, filter media replacement, pump maintenance, membrane cleaning and replacement.</li>
<li>Uses monitoring equipment to test water quality to assure established standards are being met.</li>
<li>Responsible for calibration of monitoring equipment.</li>
<li>Perform water analysis and/or collects samples for preparation, labeling and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis.</li>
<li>Completes PC-based reports on site conditions, test results, site corrections and site deficiencies.</li>
<li>Work with PLC controls; repairs pumps, instruments, and control panels</li>
<li>Provides ongoing interface with customers to assure they are satisfied with job and acts as technical consultant and liaison with customer management and technical counterparts.</li>
<li>Maintain inventory of spare parts (lube oil, tubing, and piping), and adequate supply of reagents, sample containers, and shipment containers necessary for routine as well as special sampling and analysis.</li>

<li>May be required to assist at regeneration facilities when necessary.</li>

Crystal Run HealthCare, part of Optum, has an immediate opening for a friendly, patient focused and detailed oriented Patient Services Team Leader to join our team. The Patient Services Team Leader is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical and service goals.

The Patient Services Team Leader greets and registers patients in a prompt, pleasant and helpful manner, as well as instructs, directs, and schedules patients and visitors. The Patient Services Team Leader receives payments from patients, issues receipts and posts payment data.
\n
Schedule:&nbsp;Office is open&nbsp;seven days a week. This role would consist of a 37.5-hour work week, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.&nbsp; (may work until 8:00 pm to cover any call outs and occasional weekends for coverage purposes) The schedule will be determined by the supervisor upon hire.

Primary Responsibilities:

<li>Attends and participates in mandatory quarterly staff meetings / huddles</li>

<li>Completes Mandatory Education timely and consistently</li>

<li>Attends and participates in training, review classes and projects as assigned</li>

<li>Handles difficult situations and people with tact, professionalism and H.E.A.R.T.</li>

<li>Accurately documents patient complaints and concerns, ensuring the patient feels heard and supported. Appropriately escalates issues to the designated personnel for timely resolution</li>

<li>Supports on-site training initiative for new Patient Services employees</li>

<li>Completes all miscellaneous work assigned by Director, Assistant Director, Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader or Physician accurately and in a timely manner</li>

<li>Opens office as needed; turns on copiers, terminals and printers, and updates computer for current day’s session</li>
\n
<li>Communicates with clinical staff to keep patient informed of appointment status</li>
\n
<li>Verifies insurance eligibility and coverage by phone, independent website, RTE or EPIC at time of service</li>
\n
<li>Verifies patient demographic and insurance information at time of visit. Assures all demographic and insurance information is accurate, complete and up to date in the patient's chart. Scans current insurance card and photo identification into system</li>
\n
<li>Provides, explains and reviews for accurate completion, all Registration forms, consent forms and obtains signatures as required</li>
\n
<li>Provides and explains the Authorization to Release Health Information to patient at their request and documents appropriately</li>
\n
<li>Discusses balances due, including past balance, co-payments, co-insurance and deductibles, referring to Patient Accounts as necessary; takes responsibility for collecting and posting payments from patients at time of service via check, money order or credit card in compliance with our policies and procedures</li>
\n
<li>Offers patient’s My Chart activation in compliance with Meaningful Use guidelines</li>
\n
<li>Provides After visit Summary in compliance with ACO guidelines</li>
\n
<li>Follow end of day check process daily to total and balance collections</li>
\n
<li>Begins the check in process in EPIC. Act on notations and completes the check in process successfully</li>
\n
<li>Schedules/Cancels/Reschedules patient appointments as ordered by the physician adhering to scheduling policies and procedures</li>
\n
<li>Obtains HMO insurance referrals as required for maximum reimbursement of services rendered</li>
\n
<li>Notifies management or other departments appropriately using Clerical Templates for various issues/requests/reasons</li>
\n
<li>Maintains supply inventories and equipment necessary for the effective performance of the job; communicates supply needs to the office supervisor in a timely manner</li>
\n
<li>Maintains a neat, organized, orderly environment in the reception and waiting room areas, including physician business cards, brochures, signage, etc.</li>
\n
<li>Closes office as needed, ensuring all patients accounted for and discharged. May be required to set alarm</li>
\n
<li>Actively demonstrates good oral and written communication skills with both internal and external customers</li>
\n
<li>Demonstrates flexibility in schedule to meet patient and office needs</li>
\n
<li>Participates in a rotating schedule for holidays and weekends, if applicable. May be required to adjust shifts to meet the operational needs of the practice</li>
\n
<li>Cross-trained in all specialties to ensure continuity of service and coverage across the department. All staff are hired for the building, not a specific suite or specialty, and expected to adapt to evolving practice needs</li>
\n
<li>Maintains the kiosk representative station when assigned, assisting patients with check-in, navigation, and general inquiries to ensure a welcoming and supportive experience</li>
\n
<li>Works with a sense of urgency</li>
\n
<li>Performs other tasks as required for the effective and efficient functioning of the Practice when directed to do so by Supervisory and Managerial personnel</li>
\n
<li>Actively monitors and works assigned and unassigned work queues during downtime to support efficient operations and ensure timely patient service</li>
\n
<li>Responds to emails promptly and professionally, ensuring all inquiries and concerns are addressed in a timely manner. Utilize Reply All when needed</li>

<li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>

Required Qualifications:

<li>High School Diploma/GED (or higher)</li>

<li>1+ years of experience working in a medical front office position performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, insurance verification, collecting co-pays, and maintaining medical records </li>
