SUMMARY:
Provides oversight of RN/ LPN/CNA and secretarial staff in the performance of daily duties. Assists in problems solving to help alleviate clinical issues and processes on the assigned unit. Act as the clinical resource person, working as a team with the nurse manager, staff and the provider to identify the plan of care for each patient. Supports nurse manager in developing work plans that enable the unit to reach financial/quality/safety/operational targets. Provide superior customer service by modeling the Brand Promise and Core Values.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Oversees &amp; assures short &amp; long term Nursing Dept. staff schedules per established guidelines.
· Facilitates units in emergency medical assessment &amp; care of residents including interventions, transportation &amp; other resources needed.
· Serves as a clinical resource person to staff in problem solving, assessments, special procedures &amp; clinical skill enhancements.
· Coordinates with the Nursing Staff resident units &amp; admissions dept. the rapid admission of residents including obtaining evaluations as indicated.
· Serves as adjunct to staff development coordinator in promoting planned in-services to nursing staff as per master schedule/plan.
· Provides continuity of resident status with hospital supervisory staff, and Nursing Administration.
· Supervises the M.D.R. directing, interacting with residents, families and staff in providing safe, pleasant mealtime and assuring appropriate completion of required records.
· Serves as major facilitator in QA program for Nursing Dept. including completion of assessments of designated audits &amp; resultant actions required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program
· One to three years of nursing experience required.
· Registered in NYS as a registered nurse professional.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· LT PAC nursing experience preferred.

SUMMARY:
This role is a transitional, entry-level position designed to train the trainee on the necessary skills required to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A). Candidates hired into this position are required to take and pass the C.N.A Training Class and state mandated test in order to earn their C.N.A Certification. Once classes have been successfully completed, employee may begin working as a nursing aide until certification is obtained.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Skillfully and safely, perform all activities required to successfully pass the C.N.A certification in order to transition into the C.N.A role.
· Must remain in good standing with training program. Failure to remain in good standing for any reason may result in termination at the discretion of the training program leaders.
· Read and follow resident’s care card. Care plan includes residents daily personal care needs, treatments and therapies. Engage nurse with any questions related to care plan.
· Gives personal care to residents: bathing, toileting, feeding, transferring, and ambulating.
· Promote residents involvement and independence to the extent the resident is able.
· Observe and report changes in physical condition, behavior, reactions, and appetite to nurse. Report any hazardous conditions that may jeopardize resident, visitor, or staff safety.
· Transport residents throughout the facility as needed.
· Attend in-services to fulfill the number of hours required by state.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· C.N.A. Certification required to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Cortelyou is a 46 unit supportive housing program located in Flatbush Brooklyn. The Program specially services young adults 18-25 years old with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness and have a chronic history of being unhoused. Most of the young adults living at Cortelyou are members of the LGBTQ+ community. The Program offers a safe environment and supportive services to help our young adults to move towards long term stability. This Program is under the NY/NY 15 population C agreement and funding is being provided through the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for cultivating a safe and affirming living environment for formerly homeless, young adults, many living with a significant mental illness, and identifying as part of the LQBTQIA+ community.

POSITION: Senior Director of Marketing and Communication
REPORTS TO: Chief Advancement Officer
STATUS: Full-time, Exempt
RANGE: $120,000 - $140,000
SUMMARY: Brooklyn Law School, an independent institution in Downtown Brooklyn founded in 1901, seeks a Senior Director of Marketing and Communication to lead a dynamic team. Serving as a spokesperson for the Law School, this pivotal role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy that builds and protects Brooklyn Law’s brand, strengthens its reputation, and elevates the Law School’s profile through earned and owned media.
Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO), the Senior Director of Marketing and Communication will provide strategic oversight of the Law School’s integrated communications, marketing, multimedia content and public relations efforts to engage key audiences. You will be charged with elevating the institution's brand visibility and aligning marketing/communication strategies with the Law School’s mission and strategic goals. The Senior Director will be a critical partner to the CAO in launching the Law School’s first comprehensive fund-raising campaign. 
Responsibilities include:

<li>Work with CAO to develop a holistic communications and marketing strategy for the Law School that tells the stories and shares the vision that supports the upcoming comprehensive campaign.</li>
<li>Lead the communications and marketing team with expertise, offering guidance, mentorship, and fostering opportunities for professional development.</li>
<li>Lead communications and marketing campaigns from concept to execution, including strategic planning, content creation, project management, and communications.</li>
<li>Develop and execute social media strategies, including platform-specific content creation, to engage audiences and increase brand visibility.</li>
<li>Oversee multimedia content creation, including video production, to ensure consistent, impactful messaging across all channels.</li>
<li>Manage recruitment marketing efforts, including creating content, project management, and reporting, in alignment with the school’s strategic goals.</li>
<li>Monitor and manage the Law School’s online presence, including the website, social media platforms, and other digital channels. Oversee creative of compelling external marketing materials to support recruitment and fundraising efforts, including brochures, videos, and presentations.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for media relations and manage public relations activities to promote positive visibility for the Law School and manage/advise on crisis communications.</li>
<li>Build and sustain relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and community organizations to elevate the Law School’s local and national reputation.</li>
<li>Provide event-related marketing support, including the creation of emails and collateral materials, coordination of video and photography shoots, and content for the website.</li>
<li>Ensure design consistency and manage the execution of marketing and communications strategies for fundraising, recruitment, faculty and other school initiatives.</li>
<li>Monitor and report on campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments.</li>
<li>Develop and oversee department budget.</li>
<li>Complete other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Required:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.</li>
<li>Minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in communications and marketing.</li>
<li>Proven track record of developing and executing integrated marketing strategies and campaigns, ideally within higher education, nonprofit, or mission-driven environments.</li>
<li>Exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills, with the ability to adapt to the voice and vision of the Dean and President.</li>
<li>Strong leadership and team management experience, including mentoring staff and fostering professional development.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of communications and marketing principles, current trends, strategies and experience in campaign management.</li>
<li>Expertise in social media strategy and content management across various platforms.</li>
<li>Proficiency with digital marketing tools and web applications.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail, including grammar, style, and visual consistency across platforms.</li>
<li>Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends, as needed.</li>
</ul>
Preferred:
<ul>
<li>Advanced degree in marketing or communications preferred.</li>
<li>Lived or professional experience in the NYC market.</li>
<li>Knowledge of higher education and fundraising marketing is strongly desired.</li>
<li>Salesforce CRM experience is desired.</li>
</ul>
