RESPONSIBILITIES
The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one and couples personalized fitness instruction in person to clients at their home, apartment gym or outside while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. Responsibilities are as follows:

As part of our interdisciplinary care team, you will often directly interact with surgeons, surgical APPs, and CWOCNs. Our unit provides care to many medical patients, preparing our staff to work in any med-surg or critical care environment.

4300 is a 20 bed, medical surgical unit with the additional specialty of Peritoneal Dialysis (PD). RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides high-quality, patient-centered, clinical care

Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient, utilizing appropriate data (i.e. physical, psychological, educational and risk-screen data appropriate for the chronological / developmental age of the patient).

Communicates and documents assessment of patient with the interdisciplinary team. Utilizes all available resources in order to meet the needs of the patient and family.
</li>
<li>
Develops and documents plan of care, treatment and services which is individualized and appropriate for the patient needs, strengths, limitations and goals.

<li>
Complies with organizational policies, procedures and protocols including policies governing safety, medication administration and documentation.
</li>
<li>
Revises plan of care based on ongoing evaluations and updates documentation appropriately.
</li>
<li>
Completes at least one clinical research utilization (CRU) form for submission to Nursing Research Department utilizing a research article from the last 5 years from research performed in the United States. Compliance

<li>
Completes a minimum of 5 nationally approved contact hours (CNE or CEU) per year.
</li>
<li>
Completes mandatory in-services and health screens in timely manner.
</li>
<li>
Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>Previous experience in a Clinical or Pathology Laboratory a benefit, but not required.</li>

<li>Training &amp; Development. Assist with training new personnel on responsibilities in the laboratory; evaluate progress of training; make recommendations for training methods and content</li>
<li>Evaluation. Continuously assess work processes and make suggestions for improved work methods and ways to increase efficiency, reduce costs and solve operational problems; monitor departmental reagent inventories</li>
