Position Overview Under the supervision of the Finance Operations Director, the Finance Administration team is seeking a highly organized and experienced consultant to support the transition of our finance operations into the HealthEdge (HealthRules Payor) system. This individual will serve as a key liaison between the Finance department and the HealthEdge project team (HRP), ensuring that financial workflows are accurately documented, communication is streamlined, and staff are adequately trained during the migration.
This is a temporary position with expected duration of August 2025 – April 2026.

Duties &amp; Responsibilities
Workflow Documentation
<ul>
<li>Parallel testing</li>
<li>Assess and document current finance workflows and processes that will transition to HealthEdge.</li>
<li>Identify gaps and propose recommendations for optimization or alignment with the new system.</li>
<li>Create clear, user-friendly documentation for future reference and training.</li>
</ul>
Coordination &amp; Communication
<ul>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact between Finance and HRP teams.</li>
<li>Facilitate regular meetings to capture finance requirements, address concerns, and ensure timely updates.</li>
<li>Translate finance-specific needs into actionable requirements for the implementation team.</li>
</ul>
Training &amp; Support
<ul>
<li>Assist in the development and delivery of training materials tailored for Finance staff.</li>
<li>Provide hands-on support during system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live.</li>
<li>Offer post-implementation support to ensure smooth adoption.</li>
</ul>
Project Management Assistance
<ul>
<li>Track deliverables, deadlines, and follow-ups related to finance tasks in the implementation plan.</li>
<li>Support change management efforts and user readiness initiatives.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree required with a minimum of 5 years of experience industry related (business, health care, insurance).</li>
<li>Experience in large system transitions, preferably involving HealthEdge/HealthRules Payor or other healthcare finance platforms.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of finance operations within a healthcare setting.</li>
<li>Claims experience.</li>
<li>Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.</li>
<li>Proven ability to document complex workflows and translate technical concepts into plain language.</li>
<li>Strong project coordination or project management background.</li>
<li>Familiarity with training design and delivery is a plus.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Skills

<li>Experience in healthcare finance operations, revenue cycle, or payment systems.</li>

THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND
We’re looking for a fully trained Ophthalmic Technician 2 with two years minimum of refracting experience, that is passionate and empathetic to join our team as Ophthalmic Techs. Our Techs are responsible for all the pre-exam elements of the patient visit. This includes gathering and documenting patient information and history and conducting routine and ancillary patient testing. You’ll play a vital role in the patients experience with OCLI and in helping our Dr’s to diagnose and treat eye disorders.
OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU

<li>You’ll test and record patient's far acuity, near acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception, and color perception</li>
<li>You’ll apply drops to anesthetize, dilate, or medicate eyes and collect and process specimens for testing</li>
<li>You’ll triage emergency cases appropriately into physicians’ schedule and maintain patient flow</li>
<li>You’ll prepare patient and procedure room and assist ophthalmologist with procedures as needed</li>
<li>You’ll perform first level maintenance on equipment and notify the office manager of any equipment malfunctions</li>
<li>You will be expected to utilize, as appropriate, infection control techniques and universal precautions, and to maintain confidentiality at all times</li>
</ul>

<li>You have two years minimum of refracting experience</li>
