Position Overview We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Neurologist to join our healthcare team on a part-time basis. The Neurologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating neurological conditions, managing complex cases, and providing educational support to patients to improve their health outcomes. This is a part-time position based at our community health centers in the Hudson Valley, New York City, and Long Island, offering an opportunity to serve an underserved population while working in a collaborative environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

<li>Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations and physical assessments to diagnose neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders.</li>
<li>Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRIs, CT scans, EEGs, and other neurological assessments to formulate treatment plans.</li>
<li>Prescribe and manage treatment plans, including medications, lifestyle recommendations, and therapeutic interventions.</li>
<li>Provide patient education on neurological disorders, including prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.</li>
<li>Work closely with primary care teams, behavioral health professionals, and other specialists to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.</li>
<li>Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal patient care and safety.</li>
<li>Maintain required certifications and licenses, including ABPN Neurology Certification, CPR/BLS-HCP, and active DEA registration.</li>
<li>Engage in continuing education and professional development to stay current with advancements in neurology.</li>

 Minimum Education Requirement

<li>Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with a focus on Neurology.</li>
<li>Board-certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).</li>
</ul>
 Minimum Work Experience 
<ul>
<li>5-8 years of clinical experience as a Neurologist, preferably within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or a similar healthcare setting.</li>
</ul>
 Preferred Work Experience 
<ul>
<li>8+ years of experience in neurology with a proven track record of providing patient-centered care.</li>
<li>Experience in treating underserved populations or within community health settings is a plus.</li>
</ul>
 Licensure

<li>Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Neurologist in the State of New York.</li>
<li>Board certification in Neurology by the ABPN.</li>
<li>Current CPR/BLS-HCP certification.</li>
