Allied Universal is seeking to fill the position of a Department of Defense Cleared Security Officer located in Greenlawn, Long Island.

<li>Position is: Full Time</li>
<li>Work days Available: Monday - Sunday</li>
<li>Work Shift: Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Overnight</li>
<li>Valid Driver's License</li>
<li>1+ Years Armed Security/Law Emforcement/Military Experience</li>
<li>Active DoD Clearance (C103)</li>
<li>Pay Rate: $23.33 - $24.33 hour</li>

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed). At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism</li>
<li>Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information</li>
<li>Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points</li>
<li>Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel</li>
<li>Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms</li>
<li>Act as a first responder in emergency situations</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
<ul>
<li>Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience</li>
<li>Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)</li>
<li>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment</li>
<li>Must possess one or more of the following:</li>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site</li>
<li>Prior military experience</li>
</ul>
<li>Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Exceptional customer service skills</li>
<li>Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites</li>
</ul>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
<ul>
<li>Prior law enforcement or armed security experience</li>
<li>Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field</li>
</ul>
