General Description: 
The Residential Counselor is responsible for actively supervising all residents/visitors/guests at Pat’s Place as well as the physical property or site on an on-going basis at the site to which they are assigned in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations of Hudson River Housing, Inc. Principal Duties:

<li>Actively supervises residents of Pat’s Place to insure their safety and compliance with program rules and their individual case plan.</li>
<li> Handles incoming phone calls and other requests for services, providing crisis intervention services and/or referring potential clients to Case Managers when immediate intervention is not necessary.</li>
<li> Screens all youth for housing, conducts a risk assessment /brief intake, develops initial case plan.</li>
<li> Provides positive youth development opportunities for youth through planning and facilitating group meetings and enrichment activities.</li>

<li> Follows procedures for emergency and planned discharges of residents that occur on their shift.</li>

<li> Actively attends and participates in required trainings and meetings and takes advantage of a sufficient number of optional training to ensure annual training requirements are met.</li>
<li>May participate in data collection and compilation, procurement of food and supplies, meal planning, community presentations, street outreach, or other activities as assigned.</li>
<li>Directly transports and/or arranges transportation for clients in accordance with procedures.</li>

<li>Assist in kitchen and breakfast as needed.</li>

Qualifications
 
Education: Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
 
Knowledge: Must demonstrate interest and have the capacity to effectively work with runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth and their families. Must have basic reading, writing skills and computer skills, and be able to communicate effectively. Must be detail orientated and organized. Must be flexible and open minded to deal with unexpected situations that come up. Compassion for helping others and sensitivity to special needs and diverse populations is critical. Must be a responsible, non-judgmental individual that is able to think constructively and work independently as well as part of a team. Must have a strong commitment to personal and professional ethics and standards and be able to set and maintain appropriate boundaries with program participants maintaining confidentiality at all times. 
 
Experience: Human service experience including interpersonal skills and sensitivity to homeless, mentally ill, low income and other special needs populations is required as well as general administrative experience. Excellent organizational skills are required, and the ability to prioritize the daily challenges.

The Surveillance Specialist is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the safety and security of all Cayuga Nation enterprises, including gaming facilities, retail outlets, and other properties. This role involves using surveillance equipment to observe activities, detect suspicious behavior, and report incidents in real time. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a high-pressure environment, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of Cayuga Nation's operations.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Monitor Surveillance Systems:
<ul>
<li>Operate and monitor CCTV systems, including cameras and recording devices, across all Cayuga Nation properties.</li>
<li>Maintain a constant watch on all monitored areas, focusing on gaming floors, cash handling areas, and other sensitive locations.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Incident Detection and Reporting:
<ul>
<li>Identify and report any suspicious activities, policy violations, or illegal conduct to the appropriate authorities or departments.</li>
<li>Document and log all surveillance activities and incidents, ensuring accurate and detailed records.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Collaboration with Security Teams:
<ul>
<li>Work closely with on-site security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and ensure a swift and effective resolution.</li>
<li>Provide live video support to security teams during incidents, assisting in real-time decision-making.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
<ul>
<li>Ensure all surveillance activities comply with local, state, and federal laws, as well as with Cayuga Nation's internal policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Participate in regular audits and reviews of surveillance practices to ensure ongoing compliance.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Equipment Maintenance:
<ul>
<li>Perform routine checks and maintenance on surveillance equipment to ensure proper functioning.</li>
<li>Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the Surveillance Manager for timely resolution.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Confidentiality and Data Security:
<ul>
<li>Handle all surveillance footage and related data with strict confidentiality.</li>
<li>Ensure that all records are stored securely and access is restricted to authorized personnel only.</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Experience:
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in surveillance, security, or law enforcement is preferred.</li>
<li>Experience in a gaming or retail environment is a plus.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Education:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent is required.</li>
<li>Additional training or certifications in security or surveillance are desirable.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Skills:
<ul>
<li>Proficient in the use of surveillance systems and technology.</li>
<li>Strong observational skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of legal regulations related to surveillance and privacy.</li>

Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Ability to sit for extended periods while monitoring surveillance feeds.</li>
<li>Must have good vision, including the ability to distinguish colors and details on video monitors.</li>

Work Schedule:
<ul>
<li>Full-time position with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on the operational needs of Cayuga Nation enterprises.</li>
<li>This position will require primarily 7AM- 3 PM Shift and MAY include 11:00PM - 7:00AM Shifts </li>

Salary:
