What is an Occupancy Verification?
Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:

<li>To verify property occupancy.</li>
<li>To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.</li>
</ul>
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities

<li>Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.</li>
<li>Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.</li>
<li>Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.</li>

<li>Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.</li>

Lower volume counties have higher rates and higher volume counties have lower rates. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month.
Earn more as you become established, have greater availability to inspect or are willing to cover a larger territory.
No additional mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection.

Job Summary Midwood Ambulance is seeking a detail-oriented , experienced and organized Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Medicaid regulations, insurance verification, and ambulance billing procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accurate coding, and maintaining medical records. This role is crucial in facilitating the financial operations of our Ambulance Billing Department while adhering to industry regulations and standards. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end billing process, with a strong focus on New York State Medicaid claims. Candidate must be able to work 5 days in office.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Process patient billing and insurance claims accurately and efficiently.</li>
<li>Review Patient Care Reports, assign ICD-10 and CPT codes accurately</li>
<li>Submit claims in compliance with industry protocols</li>
<li>Review medical records for completeness and accuracy before billing.</li>
<li>Utilize coding systems such as ICD-10 for diagnosis coding and DRG for procedure coding.</li>
<li>Handle medical collections, including following up on unpaid claims and patient balances.</li>
<li>Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies or issues.</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, coding guidelines, and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation is in place for billing purposes.</li>
<li>Assist in the management of medical records to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.</li>
<li>Must have 2-3 years of medical Billing</li>
<li>Must have experience with NYS Medicaid Billing guidelines.</li>

 RESPONSIBILITES:

<li>Communicate with classroom teacher and other support professionals to optimize student learning.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Complete required data and documentation forms related to student learning, health, and behavioral support.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Model communication, social and interpersonal skills for students and deliver positive feedback as student's progress in these areas.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Upon successful completion of targeted training, safely and accurately administer student medication.</li>

REQUIREMENTS:

<li>High school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year’s experience working with the developmentally disabled population.</li>
<li>Must maintain qualifications in the crisis intervention procedure of the agency.</li>
<li>Must be capable at all times of initiating or assisting in all components of the crisis intervention of the agency.</li>
<li>Must be capable at all times of assisting occupants in the orderly evacuation of the facility, by both primary and secondary paths in the event of fire or other emergency.</li>
