Qualifications:

<li>Must have CDL A &amp; 21 years or older </li>
<li>Must have 3 months of verifiable experience</li>
<li>Paid Orientation - upon completion and hired.</li>
<li>Drivers can earn trip pay based on a calculation of dispatched miles that ranges from $.73 to $.76 cpm depending on route and experience.</li>

<li>OR New York State Children's Program Administrator credential AND two years direct experience working with children under the age of 13 years, AND at least one year in a supervisory capacity in a child care program or related field of work.</li>

POSITION DATES:

POSITION SHIFTS:
Monday-Friday
6:15 - 8:30am &amp; 2:00pm-6:00pm. (30-35hrs/week)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the guidance of the Youth Development Director, Site Coordinators will provide direction to children, plan program curriculum, oversee program staff, complete all OCFS required drills and inspections, and ensure the overall safety and well-being of children in the program. Site Coordinator are also responsible for making sure that their program provides a quality experience to children and families, that focuses on the YMCA values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring. This position is part time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

<li>Implements curriculum within the established guidelines.</li>
<li>Designs and implements daily lesson/activity plans.</li>
<li>Supervises the children, classroom, and all activities.</li>
<li>Makes ongoing, systematic observations and evaluations of each child.</li>
<li>Conducts family conferences, and maintains positive relationships and effective communication with families. Engages families as volunteers.</li>
<li>Maintains program site and equipment.</li>
<li>Maintains required program records.</li>
<li>Attends and participates in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training.</li>
<li>To promote the physical, intellectual, social, cultural and emotional well-being of the children.</li>
<li>Work with the staff team to plan and implement activities.</li>
<li>Provide direct leadership to the assigned group(s) and maintain constant visual contact with all assigned children.</li>
<li>Participate in daily activities and aid the children in completing tasks, including land and water-based activities. Assist in assessing child abilities and developmental stages.</li>
<li>Build enthusiasm for activities and programs.</li>
<li>Complete required documentation regarding attendance, health and wellness, sign-in and sign-out, and other items as assigned. Notify families if children are not in attendance.</li>
<li>Keep the program areas neat and organized. Follow all safety procedures.</li>
<li>Follow all regulating agency and YMCA child care policies, regulations and procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain friendly, positive and professional relationships with children, families, school &amp; day care partners and other YMCA staff. Project a positive image of the YMCA and the Day Care program.</li>
<li>Follow work site requirements regarding punctuality, appropriate dress, staff meeting attendance, etc.</li>
<li>Carry out tasks as assigned by the Site or Program Director.</li>
<li>Assist in program and YMCA recruitment and special events.</li>
<li>Work YMCA Camp Days and alternate program locations as scheduled.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>Meets educational and experience qualifications established by state law. School Age Child Care Clearance per NYS regulations as required.</li>

<li>CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and New Employee Orientation and Child Abuse prevention training within 60 days of hire date.</li>
<li>Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities.</li>

SUMMARY:
Assists the Director of Respiratory Services and other hospital personnel in assuring continuity of quality respiratory care. The therapist is called on to use their knowledge to assess patients and assists in developing appropriate care plans. Respiratory staff will address adverse reactions to therapy or medications. Staff will address all patient respiratory needs including respiratory distress or failure and utilize skills, initiative and independent judgement to assist in critical situations. Authorized to accept verbal and telephone orders from physicians for respiratory care. Responsible to assure that quality respiratory care is delivered to all patients as per orders and/or schedule. Staff performs all aspects of Respiratory Care in accordance to department policies and procedures. Respiratory staff may be required to go on patient transports, in house, as well as, to other facilities. Staff may plan and provide Respiratory Care in-service programs to hospital staff as needed. Staff must be flexible with their schedule and may be required to work variable shifts, weekends and holidays.
