The Difference You Make:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Sr. Associate to support the implementation of credit strategies and models within decision engine platform for Santander US Unsecured lending portfolio. In this role, you will work closely with credit risk, data science, and technology teams to operationalize and maintain decision logic that drives automated approvals, credit policies, models and customer lifecycle decisions. This is a critical role to ensure strategic decisions are accurately translated into system logic for real-time execution.
Strategy Implementation
<ul>
<li>Translate business and risk strategies into decision engine logic using defined rules, conditions, and configurations.</li>
<li>Collaborate with credit policy, analytics, model development and product teams to understand strategic intent and ensure accurate deployment in decision systems.</li>
<li>Support testing, validation, and monitoring of decision strategies prior to and post-production implementation.</li>
<li>Maintain documentation of decision logic, rule flows, change history, and approval workflows.</li>

Testing &amp; Validation
<ul>
<li>Design and execute test plans to ensure decision rules perform as intended.</li>
<li>Partner with QA, technology, and analytics teams to validate outputs and ensure alignment with risk frameworks.</li>
<li>Identify and troubleshoot issues in rules logic or system behavior and recommend corrective actions.</li>
<li>Conduct thorough testing of the consumer lending processing system, including&nbsp;functional testing,&nbsp;non-functional testing,&nbsp;and&nbsp;acceptance testing.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Identify and document&nbsp;defects&nbsp;and issues encountered during testing.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Participate in&nbsp;system integration testing&nbsp;and&nbsp;user acceptance testing.&nbsp;</li>

Performance Monitoring

<li>Support tracking of decision engine performance, including KPIs like approval rates, automation rates, and error rates.</li>
<li>Work with analytics and reporting teams to assess the impact of strategy changes and recommend refinements.</li>

Cross-functional Collaboration
