Eng'r: Thornton Tomasetti, Inc. seeks Project Eng'r, Structure in NY, NY to assist in direction, coordination, planning, organization, integration, & completion of eng'g projects w/in area of assigned responsibility. Req'mts: Master's or foreign equiv in Civil Eng'g or rel. field & 4 yrs of exp in job offered or rel. occupation: utilizing exp w/ reinforced concrete analysis softw for dsgn of cast in place concrete footings, beams & walls, incl using tools to dsgn element size, depth, & reinforcing bar sizes & quantities; participating in construction admin incl exp reviewing shop drawings; & utilizing documentation softw for drawing production, incl dvlpmt of plans & details for construction. 2 yrs of exp must incl: dsgn'g steel-framed structures incl conventional flr framing, composite slabs on metal deck; utilizing analysis softw, spreadsheets, & hand calculations in accordance w/ American Institute of Steel Construction & American Concrete Institute; utilizing exp w/ structural obligations for local building codes, incl NYS Building Code 2020 & NYC Building Code 2014. Telecommuting &/or work from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. Offered salary is between $135,000 & $135,000/yr. 40 hrs/wk.
