Job DescriptionJob Title: Registered Nurse – CCU (Adult ICU)

Specialty: Critical Care Unit
Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for Adult ICU/CCU areas. Candidates will be assigned to units based on clinical experience. The ideal candidate must be confident managing high-acuity patients with minimal orientation and supervision.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care ICU experience (within the past 2 years)

• Experience in hospitals of similar or greater size/acuity

• Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma experience required

• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Required Licensure & Certifications:

• Current New York State RN Registration

• BLS Certification (must be current and eligible for recertification)

Scheduling Expectations:

• Every other weekend required

• Some holidays required

• Set schedules not guaranteed

• Time-off requests exceeding 7 consecutive days will not be approved

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive ICU-level patient care

• Conduct strong nursing assessments in a high-acuity setting

• Deliver care independently with minimal supervision

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary critical care teams

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
