Receptionist Job Summary
Full Time approximately 32-35 hours M-F alternating Saturday 8-12
As a receptionist, you will play a key role in both administrative support and customer service, contributing to the smooth operation and professional image of the workplace. Your responsibilities will include greeting clients, managing office correspondence, scheduling appointments, and handling incoming calls and emails.
To be successful in this role, you must have a friendly and welcoming personality, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), and a genuine enthusiasm for working with pet owners. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to create a positive first impression and ensure clients feel valued and comfortable.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner

Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including phone calls, emails, and letters

Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently and accurately

Maintain a tidy and organized reception area

Assist with various administrative tasks as needed

Foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues through clear and friendly communication

Flexible schedule
Requirements:

Veterinary clinic experience preferred
