Kitchen Sales Department Associate

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The main responsibility of the Kitchen Sales Department associate is to provide the highest level of customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Monitor and control all buffet stands to ensure quality assurance standards.

• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store

• Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about products

• Inform customers on ingredients in each recipe

• Provide customers with fresh products that they have ordered and the correct portion size (or as close as

• Check product quality to ensure freshness

• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise

• Understand the store's layout and be able to locate products when requested by customer

• Maintain an awareness of inventory/stocking conditions note any discrepancies in inventory

• Ensure that all garbage cans in the department have tightly closed lids on top of them at all times; it is a MUST that gloves get changed after each garbage disposal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service

• 18 years or older

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to read, write and do simple math problems

• Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions and solve problems

• Able to work well with others as a team member
