Job DescriptionPosition Summary:We are seeking a skilled and servant-leader minded Scrum Master to facilitate and guide our Agile teams in delivering high-quality products. The ideal candidate is passionate about Agile principles, experienced in coaching teams, and adept at removing impediments to ensure team success.Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a servant leader and coach for one or more Agile teams.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
- Remove team impediments and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
- Guide teams to higher levels of Agile maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for them.
- Shield the team from outside distractions and interruptions.
- Ensure the team adheres to Agile values, principles, and practices.
- Work with Product Owners to ensure a well-prepared and prioritized backlog.
- Promote transparency, inspection, and adaptation within the team and with stakeholders.
- Collect, analyse, and present metrics that help the team and organization improve delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role in an Agile environment.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent) required.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, etc.) and their underlying principles.
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.
- Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Rally, VersionOne, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced Scrum Master or Agile Coach certification (PSM II, CSP-SM, SAFe SPC, etc.).
- Experience in scaled Agile environments.
Remote Pay Range$70—$75 USD
