Speech Therapist
LOCATION: Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Beacon
SHIFT: Per-Diem 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the supervision of the Director of Speech/Language Pathology, the Rehabilitation Director and the Staff Speech/Language Pathologist provides speech therapy to the residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work under the Director of Speech/Language Pathology to provide speech therapy to the residents Assist in screening, evaluating, and treatment of residents in accordance with comprehensive care planning Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
<ul>
<li>Possess knowledge of age-specific developmental factors for adult and geriatric residents</li>
<li>Must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech/Language Hearing Association</li>
<li>Must have a current New York State License as Speech/Language Pathologist</li>
<li>Long-term care experience preferred but not required</li>
