A dedicated school-based Physical Therapist opportunity is available in Monroe, NY, supporting K-12 students throughout the academic year. This full-time role involves working closely with students and school teams to provide physical therapy services aimed at promoting students independence and enhancing their access to the educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering physical therapy services aligned with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conducting thorough evaluations and designing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and families, to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate, timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
- Participating in IEP meetings and periodic progress reviews to adjust services as needed
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Active New York State Physical Therapy license
- Experience in school settings or pediatric populations is preferred
