Job Description

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining the financial records for multiple clients by processing day-to-day transactions and ensuring accurate data entry. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle various accounting tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a solid background in bookkeeping and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

 Daily Transactions: Record all financial transactions in the accounting system. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Regularly review data entries for completeness and correctness.

 General Administrative Support: Perform other clerical tasks such as filing, organizing, and managing correspondence related to accounting functions. File documents and ensure that all accounting files are properly stored and easily retrievable.

Qualifications:

 Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

 Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related field. o Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks)

 Skills & Abilities: o Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, vendors, and internal team members.

Strong analytical skills and ability to identify discrepancies.

Bilingual in Spanish: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, both written and verbal, to support a diverse client base and internal team

Working Conditions:

 Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm.

 Office environment with occasional overtime during peak accounting periods (e.g., tax season, month-end close).
