Your Role at BHSN:

As a Manager of Quality & Population Health, you will be responsible for the coordination and continuous improvement of BHSN’s Quality Improvement (QI) and Risk Management programs. This role supports the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care through the ongoing evaluation and enhancement of care processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of excellence.

This position works in close partnership with clinical, operational, and leadership teams to embed best practices into daily operations and to support organizational goals related to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate and update the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Improvement (QI) programs in alignment with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational priorities.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret population health and outcome data to identify trends, areas for intervention, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop and monitor performance metrics to assess the quality of care and operational effectiveness.

  • Utilize data to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support enhanced healthcare delivery.

  • Conduct internal audits and record reviews in a timely, accurate manner, identifying strategies for improvement.

  • Prepare and present reports on population health metrics and program outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assist in training and developing staff in quality management principles, practices, and policies.

  • Provide support for external audits and regulatory reviews as needed.

  • Organize and participate in community outreach events, health fairs, and educational workshops.

  • Identify grant opportunities and assist with writing proposals to support population health initiatives.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Human Services, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) required within 6 months of hire.

  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Lean Six Sigma certification highly desirable.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality management, performance improvement, or healthcare/population health.

    • Behavioral health experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and effectively manage multiple projects.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, performance measurement, and audit processes.
