Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Physical Therapist role is available in a vibrant K-12 school setting in Poughkeepsie, NY. This onsite position offers 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday, making it ideal for therapists committed to making a meaningful impact on students physical development and educational access throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services aligned with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations, create treatment plans, and track student progress
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and school staff to promote student success
- Maintain detailed documentation and actively participate in IEP meetings
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Active New York State Physical Therapy license
- Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy preferred
