Job Title: Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner – Sports Medicine/Rehabilitation

Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Physician Assistant (PA)/Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. The PA/NP will play a critical role in supporting patients through their recovery journey by performing assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician and other allied health professionals.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with Chiropractors, Physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to give patients the best outcomes possible.
- Provide patient and family education regarding rehabilitation goals, treatment plans, and expected outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Respond to changes in patient conditions promptly and effectively, escalating care when necessary.
- Ability to work autonomously
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current PA/NP licensure in NY.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB)
- BLS/ACLS certification required (recommended).
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation, orthopedic, neurology, or related setting preferred but not necessary, we are willing to train.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented approach.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary and benefits package. Part time: $85-100/hour based on experience. Full time: $150-175K based on experience with benefits including malpractice, CME, Health Insurance and BONUS OPPORTUNITIES
