We're hiring an Senior Account Director to join our growing Key Accounts Team as part of the Account Management Division at EMARKETER, the leading provider of research focused on digital transformation.
As a Senior Account Director on our Key Accounts team, you will focus on ensuring customer success, retention, and growth across some of our largest and most strategic client relationships. Your book of business will include global brands and media leaders, where you will serve as a consultative partner, proactively identifying opportunities to deepen engagement and deliver business impact. This is a high-visibility role suited for a seasoned account leader with a strong sales acumen, comfort navigating enterprise-level complexity, and a track record of expanding relationships across multiple stakeholders and business units.

Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to align on desired outcomes and set mutual goals
- Set external account priorities while articulating internally how client needs translate to the annual strategy
- Maintain consistent communication with key client contacts and advocates while eliciting feedback from product users
- Develop relationships with new client stakeholders and advocates in order to renew and grow accounts
- Expand existing relationships to the C-Level
- Identify growth and upsell opportunities through user band expansion, new products sales and new division opportunities
- Create, execute and adapt proactive client strategy to achieve goals
- Develop a pipeline, forecast outcomes and provide regular internal updates
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in full sales cycle account management and a strong sales acumen
- Successful enterprise sales experience working with key clients and growing their accounts
- Proven success renewing and upselling business in a client focused role and consistently exceeding sales quotas
- Experience selling to multiple stakeholders and/or managing and renewing a book of global accounts
- Aptitude and eagerness to form senior level relationships across client organizations
- Demonstrated expertise in subscription-based research, SaaS, and managing partnerships with global brands is required
Salary & Benefits:
- Base salary: $125,000-145,000 (dependent on skills & experience)
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $179,600-$199,600 (includes base salary + commission)

Salary for the role is commensurate with experience and depends on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
