Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to serve K-12 students in a school setting located in Owego, NY. This role supports the development and functional performance of students through individualized therapy plans designed to enhance their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct prehensive evaluations of students' motor skills and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement tailored occupational therapy programs that support students educational goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to integrate therapy plans into classroom activities.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and assessments.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience working in a school environment, preferably with K-12 students.
• Strong knowledge of educational and developmental therapy techniques.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
