Infant/ Toddler Floater Teacher The Goddard School of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY
The Goddard School of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dependable Infant/Toddler Floater Teacher to join our team of passionate educators.
Our Wonder of Learning curriculum is both play-based and inquiry-driven, fostering a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and grow. Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Teacher in implementing engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities.
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Supervise and interact with children to encourage their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators.
- Ensure all activities and practices align with Goddard School standards and New York State licensing regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting preferred.
- High School Diploma/GED, CDA or degree (or working toward a degree) in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ability to multi-task and organizational skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
