National Enrichment Group is dedicated to providing high-quality educational enrichment to diverse communities. We focus on creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences for children and youth. We are excited to expand our offerings and are looking for enthusiastic Sign Language Instructors to join our team. We are seeking several passionate and experienced Sign Language Instructors to teach American Sign Language (ASL) to school-age children in our partnering schools. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in ASL and a talent for making learning engaging and accessible for young students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a dynamic ASL curriculum tailored for school-age children.
  • Create a supportive and interactive learning environment that encourages student participation.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit various learning styles and levels.
  • Use creative and age-appropriate techniques to keep students engaged and motivated.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
  • Collaborate with school staff and other instructors to ensure a cohesive educational experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with the ability to teach effectively to children.
  • Previous experience teaching ASL or working with children is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging lesson plans that are age-appropriate.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching and working with young learners.
  • Relevant certifications or degrees in education, sign language, or a related field are a plus.
